We are excited to announce that we are now offering Colon Hydrotherapy at the Edmonton Clinic Of Naturopathic Medicine!
Colon Hydrotherapy is a great, gentle treatment that can be very helpful as a part of a complete protocol to help relieve constipation, to aid in a cleanse protocol and even just to hydrate your body from the inside out. It can great to get your lymph flowing which can aid our immune function, and also help with swelling and allergies as well!
Check out the FAQ’s on our Colon Hydrotherapy page to get answers to questions including: is it painful? (not) and what does a treatment actually look like?
SPRING DETOXING and CLEANSING
With spring approaching, we are going to be looking towards detoxing and cleansing. We will have some unique ways that you can join us in this endeavour that will include some bundling of our services:
- nutritional support with Michelle Moen, our awesome Holistic Nutritional Consultant
- a quick visit with our Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Janice Dacyshyn to assess your particular detox requirements
- a colon Hydrotherapy treatment or two with Olena Lob, our new Colon Hydrotherapist who has over a decade of experience!
Send us an email if you would like us to let you know when it is launched, or stay tuned to our blog posts!
Hang in there in the meantime, the days are getting longer, the sun is coming up a wee bit earlier, and it is currently -12 (…in Edmonton….in February!!!)
Our clinic will also be launching another Facebook adventure which we would love you to be a part of…
Beginning next week, we will be consciously trying to focus on the positive things going on around us. There is some evidence to support the notion that if we are inundated with traumatic, sad, negative events, it is easy to lose our ability to find joy and beauty around us. Almost like our muscles…if we do not use this part of our brains, we lose our capacity to feel joy and happiness in our lives (more on this later). So, our initiative is going to be to post pictures or quotes of anything that inspires us to feel joy, happiness and positivity. Let’s exercise this muscle together and see if we can lift our spirits a bit.
Our first post will be February 7th on Facebook, and will have more information on the real, brain science of immersing ourselves in positive moments in our every day lives!
We, at the Edmonton Clinic Of Naturopathic Medicine are so very grateful for your support, and we continue to be inspired by the changes our patients and clients make!
